Simon is God

In Lord of the Flies...Simon is a lot more different than any of the other boys on the island, because he is more relaxed and sees things in a different way than the others do. He is also a lot more mature for his age comparing to Jack.
He doesn't really know how to express his feelings, because the other boys will make fun of him...especially Jack and the choir boys, they call him queer. Although he is not.
Simon is really smart, he has his own place were he spends time alone and meditates. I the story when he goes to the place the sun shines right down on him and the wind blows in his face with the butterflies dancing by his side.
Simon really cares about the boys, especially the littluns. Simon is kind of like a mom to them. When Jack wanted someone to go over and tell Piggy they would be back later, Simon volunteered himself to go, to make sure they were okay and not to worry them. Simon is also reminds you of Jesus, he has this special power that makes him different and unique the boys.
Simon can see what Jack is thinking, by the way Jack acts around the island and his expectations, Simon can see on his expressions and the usual.
Simon has changed a lot since the beginning of the book. He was very quiet and spending most of time by himself...but after spending more time with them and getting to know them, he is now more out going.
